Platelet Rich Plasma Injections for Joint Pain

Prolotherapy harnesses the body's ability to heal itself by attracting and activating the cells that lay down new connective tissue, fibroblasts, to an area of injury / weakness. It has been in use since the early 20th century. This treatment involves injecting either dextrose, whole blood, platelet rich plasma, or another fibroblast attracting substance into a joint or attachment site of a ligament or tendon. There is excellent evidence now for its' usage in many musculoskeletal disorders including knee arthritis, hip arthritis, neck pain and instability, TMJ disorder, ankle instability, shoulder instability, acute injuries to accelerate return to full activity, female incontinence, to improve female sexual satisfaction and more. A treatment series consists of up to 3 injections (however it may only take 1 to achieve the desired result) with a month between each injection. Below you will find a series of videos.  Some demonstrate the procedure and some are testimonials.  As I make more videos I will keep posting them here, so either check back from time to time of subscribe to my youtube channel to get notifications when I make more.

What Our Clients Are Saying

"We can't recommend Dr. Starsiak and his approach enough!! He is wonderful. Our 8 week old daughter cried constantly from day 1. She only slept 4-6 hours every 24 hour period. Mostly in 30 minute increments. While this was draining on her mom and I, we were mainly concerned about our daughter's well being. She seemed like she was constantly in pain. Other doctors and professionals we talked to shrugged it off to, 'she's just a baby' or 'she's probably just colicky'. We are so thrilled we took her to Dr. Starsiak. He identified that she was in pain due to her long birthing and delivery process and was able to relieve that pain through his gentle process. We finally have a baby that is happy, smiling, and has relief from the pain she was experiencing.

If you have been told that your baby is 'just colicky' and they will grow out of it, you need to get a second opinion from Dr. Starsiak."
